**Certain features were to become trademarks of DeMongenet's style, thanks to their being emulated by other globe makers until the mid-17th century.**  
  
**For example, the constellation of Boötes, the Herdsman, is followed by his hounds. (topmost image)**  
  
**The figure of Hercules points to Lyra, depicted as an eagle with a violin body. (middle)**  
  
**The "Stellarum Notae" lists symbols representing the magnitude of stars. (bottom)**
